The Lee Public Library is now a participant in the NH Downloadable Audio and E-Book Program. Browse and search hundreds of great titles and download them to your computer, transfer them to a compatible MP3 player, or burn select titles onto a CD for your enjoyment, all from the comfort of home. Please note that a limited number of audio book titles are now compatible with MACs and Ipods, and e-book titles may be downloaded to a Sony Reader, Barnes and Noble Nook, Apple IPad and other devices. Please note:
- You must enter the library's 4 digit prefix as part of your library card number. Please see a librarian to obtain this information.
- Downloaded titles are available on your computer for a one week period only. You must transfer them to a compatible MP3 player, ebook reader or burn them to CDs during this time. Patrons are expected to delete the content from their devices once the loan period has expired.
- You may only have 3 titles checked out at one time. Titles currently on loan to other patrons may be reserved. You will receive an email notification once the title is available for check out. You will have 48 hours once the email has been sent to download the reserved title.
- You may need to perform a Windows Media Security upgrade before audio files can be downloaded to your computer. Refer to the help menu on the NH Downloadable Audio Webiste for further information.
- Some titles cannot be burned to a CD; the digital rights information for each title will indicate whether a title can be burned to a CD.
- All titles can be downloaded to a computer and transferred to a compatible MP3 player. Please note that only a limited number of titles can be downloaded to MACs and transferred to an IPod or downloaded to a compatible ebook reader.
