Build with Legos

Join us as Gordon Lubbers, owner of Bricks 4 Kidz, leads a fun morning of building with motorized Lego models. Kids can choose model kits and plans from 2 different themes - the NASA inspired Space Adventures and the Ticket to Ride amusement park rides. This program encourages curiosity and creativity and is for children in grades 1-5. Please register by calling 659-2626.

Ladybug Valentine Tic-Tac-Toe Drop-In Craft
Saturday, February 14
Create a ladybug tic-tac-toe game. Then use foam hearts to fill in squares.

Make a Snowman - Drop-In Craft
February 21-28
Stop by during school vacation week and make a soft, cottony snowman with a carrot nose, of course!

Ben Rudnick and Friends
Thursday, February 26

Join us as musicians Ben Rudnick and Friends entertain with fun to sing lyrics, guaranteed to get you up and dancing. Cosponsored with the Durham and Madbury public libraries, this event will be held at the Durham Public Library. Thank you to the Friends of the Lee Public Library for providing funding.

 Read to Ride at Rye Airfield Skatepark
The library is participating in Rye Airfield's READ TO RIDE program. Readers have a chance to earn a FREE day pass to the park. All you need to do is read 5 books and do one of the following for each:
*Write a short essay
*Talk about the book with a librarian
*Draw a picture about the book
Participants will receive a Read to Ride sheet. When 5 books have been read, reviewed and stamped with a library stamp, they can redeem the completed sheet at the Airfield. Please call ahead (659-2626) to make sure a librarian is available to meet with you to discuss/review your books.
