Durham Public Library Liven up vacation week by treating yourself to The Magic of Winter-an enchanting show starring magician Greg McAdams and his dog Axel. Cool magic tricks and hilarious puppetry will keep
kids and adults amazed and laughing! This event, co-sponsored by the Lee, Madbury and Durham public libraries will be held at the Durham Public Library.

What makes birds different from other animals? Using mounted birds, feathers, wings, feet, beaks, nests and eggs, children will learn about bird habitat and basic biology in this interactive program offered by the NH Audubon Society. And a REAL red-tailed hawk and peregrine falcon will be sure to steal the show! For children in grades K-4 and their families. Please register.
Penguin Puppet Drop-In-Craft

Drop by and make a cute penguin puppet!
Story times for children ages 2-6 are at 10:30 a.m. on Thursdays and Fridays. Although there tends to be a younger group on Fridays, all are welcome on either day. These fun 30-40 minute programs include stories, songs, finger plays, flannel board and a craft. Registration is not required.
After School Program
The after school program for ages 6-10. It is held on Tuesday afternoons from 3:30-4:30 p.m. Children will be introduced to a variety of authors and award-winning books. A snack, games and a craft will also be included. Mast Way students may ride bus 23 directly to the library after school. Registration is required. Call 659-2626 to sign up. This program is currently filled.
For 5th and 6th graders, this club meets from 3-4 p.m. the first Thursday of each month. Participants will read and discuss a different book each month. And - pizza will be served! Students may take bus 8 directly to the library after school. If interested, sign up by calling 659-2626.
Dog Days at the Library
Read with a 4-footed friend. Between 3:30 and 4:30 p.m. on the third Monday of the month, children in grades K-4 can read 20 minutes with Barb Brothwell and her French Bulldog, Izzy. To sign up for this fun, relaxed, non-judgemental reading time, call 659-2626.
