Recreation Commission

The Lee Recreation Commission has 5 members, 5 alternate members and one Select Board Representative.
Public meetings are held the first Monday of every month in the Town Hall Annex.
The Commission is charged with formulating policies and promoting and maintaining public
parks and recreation in the Town of Lee as well as building the current recreation program
and public parks program using the physical properties available in Lee.
As a public commission they are responsible for providing an adequate and balanced recreational
program which is to meet the needs and interests of all the residents in the town. For more

The towns of Durham, Madbury and Lee fund the Oyster River Youth Association (ORYA) which offers youth
athletic programs to the children in the three towns. To find out more about ORYA please call

Saturday, March 22. Come join the Lee Egg Hunt for children up to age 12 at the Town Field next to Mast Way School. Begins at 9AM, ends moments later! Bring a basket or a bag to carry your found eggs!
