IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING THE PROPOSED TOWN OFFICE BUILDING
The Design Build conceptual proposal for the town office building (Warrant Article 2) has undergone late specification changes with an eye towards controlling cost and meeting the proposed $1.8 million budget. Most significantly the space has been reduced from 5,488 to 4,888 square feet. Other changes include not making the building solar ready, using vinyl siding and windows, and using lower cost doors. The Select Board is committed to seeking additional funding but as of this moment the project has undergone cost cutting measures that alter the conceptual site plan and floor plan from what has been presented.
