- 911 caller reporting a slow moving pavement grader backing up traffic instead of using the breakdown lane. Gluttonous grater hogging highway managed to move along before conversation could commence.
- Responded to 2 domestic disturbance calls.
- Report of a driver swerving and opening door. Stopped. Driver distracted by clothing caught in car door. Frock freed, focus found, route resumed.
- Investigated an abandoned motor vehicle.
- Assisted Lee Fire with a residential lockout.
- 911 caller reporting their Uber using friend 30 minutes overdue. Friend found fine. Phew!
- Responded with the Lee Fire and McGregor Ambulance, to 6 medical aid calls.
- Customer’s creepy contact causing concern. Sorted situation, safety of staff secure.
- Responded to 5 motor vehicle accidents.
- Responded to 3 disabled motor vehicle calls.
- Conducted 4 residence checks.
- 911 call for a tree down on North River Road. Found fallen tree, removed from roadway, road reopened.
- Assisted other agencies on 8 occasions.
- Responded to 4 alarm activations.
- Responded to 7 motor vehicle complaints.
- Pursuit of reckless operator terminated at town line. Pursuing case leads instead.
- Conducted 3 welfare checks.
- Assisted Lee Fire with a cat stuck in a wall. Isn’t it supposed to be a tree? Hmmm. Anyway, cat successfully rescued from wily wall will likely be wary for a while.
- Conducted follow up on several cases.
- Assisted citizens on 3 occasions.
- 911 caller reporting a bear trap in the road. That’s a funny place for a ‘pic-a-nick basket’, eh Yogi?
- Investigated 3 suspicious vehicles.
- Responded with Lee Fire for a fire alarm.
- Handled 2 animal control calls.
- 911 caller reporting a truck all over the road. Stopped, drowsy driver, person parked, phoned friend, safely chauffeured.
- Responded to a report of trespassing.
- Provided fingerprinting for a resident.
- Took a theft report.
- 911 caller reporting takeout ordered not there for pick up. Scene starter’s story stymied by truth. Situation solved successfully, suspect sent sulking sans sandwich.
- Responded to 2 suspicious activity calls.
- Found wallet turned in and returned to owner.
- 911 caller reporting gun shots. Neighbors found setting off fireworks. Respectfully reminded of rules regarding fireworks.
- Assisted Lee Fire with a CO2 alarm activation.
- Witnessed blue sedan operating erratically. Stopped. Field sobriety tests done. Arrest made. Please make good choices, phone a friend, use an Uber, designate a driver, please plan… drive sober.
- Investigated a domestic violence assault case reported 3rd party.
- Person reported concerning activity on the internet. Information taken. Not criminal. Internet safety… crypto currency… cyber security… and yet STILL… no flying cars!
