- Performed 58 directed patrols and business checks.
- Performed 26 motor vehicle stops, including 14 for speed.
- Addressed landlord tenant issues… 4 times, same players, different games. Can we maybe play Sorry instead of Trouble? Just a thought.
- Responded to a noise complaint.
- Responded with the Lee Fire and McGregor Ambulance, to 13 medical aid calls.
- Box truck reported all over the road, driving on rumble strips. Box truck is wide, driver was keeping distance from yellow lines because of size. Better a rumble than a crash.
- Responded to 8 motor vehicle accidents.
- Catalytic converter cut from car and stolen. Not, again!
- 911 call reporting an irate customer at a business. Customer calm but crying, questioned and consoled, courtesy ride to residence. Care, concern and compassion… priceless yet free.
- Took a report of a lost trailer license plate.
- Community outreach: Lead the escort for the championship winning volley ball team. Way to go Oyster River! Congratulations on an award winning season!
- Registered a sex offender.
- Served paperwork to 4 residents.
- Starry eyed stargazers picked poor place to park… a park after close. Left for a more legal location to scan the sky.
- Responded to 4 disabled motor vehicle calls.
- Responded for a verbal argument.
- Conducted 5 residence checks.
- Caller reporting a car weaving… driver tired and bothered by bright headlights.
- Assisted other agencies on 10 occasions.
- Responded to 3 alarm activations.
- Responded to 8 motor vehicle complaints.
- Conducted 3 welfare checks.
- 911 caller reporting a horse on the loose. Gone on arrival. Now it’s a horse on the lam.
- Notified Fish & Game of a deceased deer.
- Assisted citizens on 4 occasions.
- Resident requesting police response for a neighbor blowing leaves into woods. We’re just gonna… leave… this here.
- Investigated 7 suspicious vehicles.
- Community outreach: stopped in at a scout event.
- 911 caller reporting illegal door-to-door political advertising, believes without permission from PD. Caller standing roadside with suspect requesting assistance. A. Its legal B. No need for PD permission C. 911??? Is it November 9th yet? Oy Vey!
- Responded with Lee Fire for a carbon monoxide alarm.
- Road hazard reported: tree limbs removed from road.
- Responded to 2 suspicious activity calls.
- Group of teens skate boarding and riding bikes… in Market Basket parking lot… at 2 AM. Dispersed to go home. Where do they get the energy?
- Performed a VIN verification.
- Assisted DCYF with an inquiry.
- Responded to a domestic disturbance call.
- Resident reporting a neighbor blowing leaves into the road. We know what you're thinking... must be a typo... they already reported that call... nope, different call.
- Investigated an abandoned motor vehicle.
- Cleared a road hazard, a fallen tree limb.
- Car in lot after hours, 2 occupants, “talking”, encouraged to have their conversation elsewhere.
- Theft of services.
- Issued a deer tag for a struck deer.
- 911 call for a dead deer in the road.
- Loose dog reported.
- Herd of sheep running loose. Corralled and safely herded home. What’s gotten into all the animals this week??? They’re running wild. Full moon madness maybe.
