Activity Log 11/27/22 to 12/6/22

Please forgive us, for the delay, we've been super busy, and time gets away. But now here you go, without further ado, we're happy to share, the Lee log with you.
Lee Police Activity Log for 11/27/22 to 12/6/22:
Arrests:
- Steven Zammuto of Berwick, ME
     ~ DUI
- Jordan Peace of Rochester, NH
     ~ Arrest on a Warrant for Breach of Bail
Calls for Service:
- Performed 83 directed patrols and business checks.
- Performed 37 motor vehicle stops, including 21 for speed.
- Person standing by with an injured owl. Arrived to find just a lonely owl looking at us, sans chaperone. Apparently our appearance was all it needed to believe it could fly and it touched the sky. Fair winds our feathered friend.
- Investigated 8 abandoned motor vehicles.
- Registered a sex offender.
- Passer by reporting a person slumped over in a vehicle. Car had run out of gas and driver was leaning over to use their phone. Maybe tilted torso tempted telephone toward boosted bars. Spotty signal stress.
- Conducted 14 residence checks.
- Assisted with 3 motor vehicle lockouts.
- Here we go again, another man making a miss mighty meek, mulling motives… malevolent, mischievous, misunderstood?… being melodramatic? We don’t think so, miss is miserable and mom is mad. Mystery man ‘made’ and met with. Made clear that more messages, motive moot, may mean move more motivating measures to mend manners.
- Assisted other agencies on 5 occasions.
- Assisted Lee Fire with an odor investigation.
- Toppling tree takes wires with whilst timbering. Effectively ending energy supply to surrounding streets. Eversource enroute to repair and restore power promptly.
- Responded to 5 motor vehicle complaints.
- Conducted 1 welfare check.
- Addressed 4 tree(s)/wire(s) down.
- Tree limb landed, woefully on wires, began burning then burst fully into flames.
- Responded with Lee Fire for a fire alarm activation.
- Conducted follow up on 7 cases.
- Helpful Samaritans stopped to check, on people pulled over, looking a wreck. We rushed to the scene and found out quick, the people in trouble, they were really quite sick. Sad to say, Narcan used to revive, and it isn’t uncommon, but we’re glad they’re alive. Speaking up with our voices… please make better choices.
- Removed 2 road hazards.
- Assisted citizens on 4 occasions.
- Fed Ex truck with no rear lights, unfortunately gone, not in our sights.
- Investigated 7 suspicious vehicles.
- Responded to 2 suspicious activity calls.
- Gunshots reported, or perhaps fireworks, some loud kind of bang is causing some irks. The source of concern was soon figured out, a car backfiring was making them pout.
- Responded with the Lee Fire and McGregor Ambulance, to 16 medical aid calls.
- Responded to 11 motor vehicle accidents.
- 911 caller concerned car could cause calamity due to dangerous driving. Caught up with car, signaled to stop, driver was drowsy, suggested solution that nap might be needed.
- Responded to a disabled motor vehicle call.
- Provided fingerprinting for a resident.
- Driver discovered dead deer desires to deliver it to domicile, destined to be dinner. Tag tendered, trophy transported.
- Responded to 5 alarm activations.
- Served paperwork to 2 residents.
- Shady shenanigans at storage space stirring suspicion.
- Handled 2 animal control calls.
- Landlord/tenant dispute.
- While out on patrol keeping watch in the town, we stumbled upon a possible car broken down. Spoke to the driver who politely explained, they were not having trouble, simply standard shift driving being trained. (Kind of ironic that driving a standard isn’t really the standard any more; instead automatic has become the norm and driving a standard is considered a chore.)
