Dog Licenses

Per RSA 466:13, the State of New Hampshire requires that all dogs over 4 months of age be licensed annually by April 30th. The penalty for failing to license a dog over 4 months of age is a $25.00 fine. Dog Licenses may be applied for at the Town Clerk’s office, by mail or online. If you are a new resident, visit the Town Clerk’s office and present a copy of your dog’s current Rabies vaccination certificate and proof that your dog has been spayed or neutered. If you prefer to complete your dog license registration online, simply email the documentation to the email addresses listed above.
Fees:
- Spayed/Neutered Dog $6.50
- Unaltered Dog $9.00
- Puppies (4-7 months) $6.50
- Senior Citizen’s Dog (first) $2.00
- Late Fee (after 5/31) $1.00/month
- Failure to Register $25.00 fine
